Techy stuff… for the most part.
For the last couple weeks I have been getting called by someone/some company who claims to be “Cardmember Services” They start with a little pre-recorded spiel about being my final notice (Yeah right! I only wish it was my final notice.) to lower my credit card interest rates. The messages goes on to say “Press 1 to speak to an agent.”
The first time they called, I pressed 1 and when they came on I asked to be removed from their calling list as I am on the National Do Not Call registry. They promptly hung up the line. I then tried calling them back on the number they called on and the line reported that it was no longer in service. “Great!” I thought, these losers don’t want to be called back.
I left it alone and sure enough the next day at a different time, I get a call again, only this time the number was a different number on the caller ID. So I did the routine again and pressed 1. I led them on for a bit about being interested in their service and when they got suspicious of my schemes (when I asked them who they were with) they just hung up.
Sure enough, the next day I get another call, it is the same thing. This time, I was able to get a little more out of them… all the way to the point where they wanted a credit card number to verify I had the debt. After trying to get more information from her and stalling on giving any credit card information, she hung up.
I did some research on these numbers that have called and came up with the following information:

(CA) number – looks like it is another scam trying to lower my interest on credit card debt (that I don’t have) they called two different phone numbers of mine within 2 minutes. Looking online, I wasn’t the only one, seems they have upped their efforts to annoy us.
Call your phone company, your attorney general, file a report with the FCC until these bastards go away. Getting sick and tired of the robo calls to my cell phones already!

Mci Metro Ats, Inc. – Oh called me from 513-712-4183, twice once at 6:58 pm and the second at 7:51pm. did not leave a message. I looked them up and found this site. Why is this still going on??
MCI is just the phone carrier who probably “owns” the number that is most likely spoofed. Robocalls and other scam calls are only getting worse. Until changes are made across the board to the phone system, it will only continue. i got a call from 612-355-7872 trying to buy my timeshare weeks, I looked up the number and it said McImetro in Michigan. Scammers
number 833-781-5288 using a landline of 361-431-3631 also scam! leaving # saying I was going to miss my court date.I have never had any court date pending.
I received a call today for lowering my credit card rates. I pressed the 1 button to speak to a person hoping to have my number removed. “I don’t have have any credit cards” I told the rep. “Please remove my number from your list.” I said and he said no.
The caller ID said it was Ameristar Fence and the number used is (918)879-3928. When I called back a recording saying the number is no longer in service. I did the reverse number look up and found this site. The same Mclememto……

Getting calls from 410-403-0961. They are leaving a message that they are calling from social security regarding fraudulent activity with my SS number; that all my bank accounts are closed, etc. Of course Social Security doesn’t do that. All 410-403-xxxx numbers belong to Mcimetroservices. Located in Maryland. This i think this is a fraudulent site.
I have over 20 annoying calls in less than two weeks from the Southington, CT 860-406 with the last four numbers constantly changed–I have blocked them all–and yet they still keep coming–The information I received on line was this sales company is from Mcimentro access transmission services LLC. I know they are also using verizon wireless for their annoying phone calls….I have threatened them with harassment charges–as I told them repeatedly to take my number off their calling list–I also demanded the name of the company, it’s location and the CEO’s name and address. They have failed to comply and by LAW they are supposed to relinquish that info when asked…I am seeing an attorney to file a law suit–In the middle of a very serious conversation I was having with my mom’s doctor–these bast**** called! They call two – three times a day!! These people are saying they are a trip advisory company…I am also contacting verizon–they had better do something about revoking their contract with these harassing idiots…
(415) 886-6224, Corte Madera, CA. 3 calls on 12/19/17, 5 calls 12/20/17, another call today, 12/21/17, which I blocked. Two voicemails, one blank, one with some random clicking noises in the background. Reverse lookup says this number is registered with MCIMETRO ACCESS TRANSMISSION SERVICES LLC.

A few days ago I filled out some online job applications. I started getting emails from several places like Employment Blur and Elite Jobs, and the same day I started getting phone calls from unfamiliar numbers from various states. I answered a couple of them and as soon as I realized what they were I hung up and stopped answering calls from unknown numbers. also, they never leave messages.

I got a call from same company. I answered the phone. A guy named Josh Smith told me he had a package with documents he had to give me. he gave me a number to call back because he couldn’t open up a document he has to deliver to me. I asked him for his number he was calling from. He said his home phone was not working. He was not going to give me his cell phone number. He gave me a number of 832.536.8850
With a reference number as well. The number is out of Texas. I called it back. There was a lady who answered my call. She wanted my phone number and my name. She asked me if I had a reference number? I did not give it to her right away. I made her kinda of searched for it. But I believe she said something that was not right about my name.
My wife also got a call from the same guy. He said he was going to stop at my house between 3-5pm tomorrow. Also gave her the same call back number and reference number?

Hi I use a app on my iPhone called. truecaller.. it tells. you when a spammer calls you … but. dose not tell you all of them…
I can add to the list of numbers for MCI – 914.233.5718. When I try to explain that I asked to be removed from their call list since I don’t have the vehicle any longer, I get hung up on. Aside from MCI I get various calls about job opportunities, and other things from 917 area codes – most likely because my area code is 917 (which is NYC cell code) but I live in Florida. Again rude, nasty individuals on the other end who hang up on me when I question them. I tried calling the number back one day and a male answered. He had no idea what I was talking about – that was when I realized that these companies are using/cloning cell numbers to make these calls.

I keep getting the same call from MCI but caller ID says Pediatric Urology and the number I get called from at least 7 times a week is 602-384-2290. I never answer as I have no children that would need to see a pediatrician .
Add a new number to your list (949)538-3863. Always use reverse look-up before I answer or call back any number that is unusual. This number has been calling all week. Finally did some research. Thanks for the info. What a pain in the rear!!
JUST DO AS I DO, COME ON HERE AND SEE WHO THEY ARE. AFTER THAT ADD THAT NUMBER TO YOUR PHONE DIRECTORY UNDER BLOCK. THEN GO AND BLOCK THAT NUMBER IN YOUR PHONE. NO MORE CALLS
MC Access Services has been calling me at least three times a year for Seven. Years. Since day one, every time, they insist that I’m “Monica” and owe them money. Ive tried to tell them that I am not Monica, i dont know one, and don’t owe any money to anyone, but they don’t listen and keep calling. Three times a year. Annoyingly. And if i dont pick up their call one day, theyll call every ten minutes until I pick up the phone and end the call. I hope MCATS burnes in a horrible hell fire so I never have to hear from them again. For god sakes, theyve been calling since I was 12, you’d think if they heard a 12 year olds voice saying its their phone and they have the wrong number theyd back off. Idk what more they want..
